A collaboration between Shinsegae Duty Free and Marriott Bonvoy,
this campaign reimagines shopping and travel as one connected journey.
By turning premium retail moments into meaningful travel rewards,
we designed a seamless brand experience—from departure to destination.
How do you connect a hotel and a duty free shop?
At first glance, Shinsegae Duty Free and Marriott Bonvoy live in separate worlds—one tied to shopping, the other to stays.
But through the eyes of modern travelers, these moments are deeply connected.
This campaign bridges those worlds with one seamless emotional narrative:
shopping becomes the start of a journey, and every gift unlocks a richer destination.
Each key visual highlights a single travel item purchased at Shinsegae Duty Free—
transformed into a moment of reward through the lens of Marriott Bonvoy.
From a pair of sunglasses to a royal suite.
From a lipstick to an exotic meal.
From a watch to a serene escape.
From a camera to unexpected friendships.
Visual language was kept intimate yet elevated, using natural lighting and warm tones to echo the feel of personal travel memories.
From object to experience, one zoom at a time.
“Crash zoom” was used to connect emotionally distant touchpoints—
shopping and hotel stays—into one integrated narrative.
Each sequence begins with a close-up of a travel item,
then zooms out to reveal the memorable Marriott Bonvoy experience it unlocks.
Each item wasn’t just styled as a prop,
but as a portal—emotionally and visually—into another world.
A hotel lounge—inside duty free.
This campaign wasn’t only expressed through visuals and film.
We also built an offline space to help visitors understand and experience the partnership more directly.
Located inside Shinsegae Duty Free,
the pop-up was designed to feel like a quiet lounge corner—
somewhere to pause, browse, and learn about the new membership benefits.
Two main features anchored the space:

Membership Linking: Visitors who connected their Marriott Bonvoy and Shinsegae Duty Free accounts received a limited luggage tag.
Benefit Overview: The key points of the collaboration—point accumulation and tier matching—were clearly explained onsite.
JW Marriott Jeju merchandise was also displayed to introduce the broader world of Marriott Bonvoy,
adding to the atmosphere without turning the space into a sales zone.

By bridging shopping and stay, departure and arrival,
we created a story—and a space—where rewards feel less like points,
and more like possibilities.
